New software lets you vote anonymously- find out how Shoppias is changing the game!
The Challenge
Anonymous Voting does sound cool, but when its Digital, there are so many roadblocks.
One challenge in anonymous voting is verifying that the vote was cast by the person who is supposed to have cast it.
Another challenge is ensuring that the voter cannot be coerced into voting in a particular way, or that their vote cannot be traced back to them.
Finally, it is important to ensure that the results of the vote cannot be tampered with.
Our Approach
When Shoppias were approached by a government entity to test for trial runs and see how it benefits the audience.
Since we knew about the challenges of anonymous voting. Our approach for anon voting was to prevent proxies and for the same we used cryptographic technique known as a one-time pad only known to the voter.
For preventing proxies, we used mixing that is crypto technique.
Finally, it is important to ensure that the results of the vote cannot be tampered with. This was handled using commitment schemes.

It was a successful implementation and one of the first implementations.
Where gaining the trust of users, organizers on the system was a real need. Hoping that we achieved it.
